“In the Pocket”
Have you ever felt your paintings look flat or lack depth? If so, this class is designed just for you. This course focuses on how to make a painting look three-dimensional and realistic.
In this class, you will paint a baseball glove and ball while learning to:
· Create a striking black background.
· Master large wet-into-wet washes with multiple colors.
· Keep paper white highlights that glow.
· Use layers to build up color and value to add depth.
· Make leather look worn and weathered, but still rich and colorful.
· Use dry brush techniques for realistic texture.
· Mix pigments for dynamic vibrant shadows and rich dark areas that have depth.
· Final tips and tricks that bring your work to the next level.
I will guide you through each step, showing you how to add those finishing details that bring your watercolors to life. By the end, your paintings will have depth, vibrancy, and realism.

How it Works:
We had THREE LIVE online classes through Zoom. The live online classes were recorded and posted in my Patreon Online School for you to watch at your convenience. All material I go over are posted for you to download and use at your convenience.
This course is perfect for all levels of watercolor artists that would like to know more about the colors they are using.
What you need to take this course: (A full detailed list will be given when you sign up for class.)
- Watercolor paper: I recommend Arches, Fabriano, or Kilimanjaro cold pressed 140lb or 300lb paper. You need artists grade paper, not student grade.
- Watercolor Brushes: I use Holbein Gold Round brushes, size 4, 8, and 12 should be good for this class. Make sure you have good artist grade watercolor round brushes that come to a nice point.
- Watercolor Paint: I use Holbein paint, but just make sure you have good artist quality watercolor paint. We are going to work with the colors that you already own so you do not have to purchase specific colors for this class.
BONUS: By signing up for this class you also get instant access to my 145+ watercolor tutorials in my online school! Each include a full watercolor video with downloadable reference photo, line drawing, color chart and materials list. AND YES, THIS IS STILL ALL FOR JUST $14!!
